Ahh.. finally everything fits perfectly. I finally got a photo editing software on board. Photoshop CS2 is great! But it keeps giving me "Not enough RAM to complete operation" damn it! I have 1 Gb RAM on my laptop! But I guess Vista requires more RAM? Time to upgrade again (Sigh).

As you can see the layout fits nicely on my screen (wide screen). I'm not too advanced in my html programming to fit to ALL kinds of screen (especially those squarish screens). So if you face problems in viewing this.. too bad I kinda like this and will stick to this theme (heh).
Anyhoo, I think I'm allergic to the sun. Gah. Today I went out walking (did any one see the sun today? Its a monster) and I came back with sinus. Gak! Time to sleep.
Remember I ditched the cropped cardi crochet project not too long ago? Its still not going to be continued cos I started a new one! Yeahahahaha. I'm crazy. I keep buying yarns and am so tempted to ask a friend to bring back yarns (and some other misc stuff like... Victoria Secret) from the US (cos he will be coming back soon), but I wont cos I believe he will have a hard time crossing into Singapore customs cos they will think he is a cross-dresser or something when they scan his bags (Singapore is so small! word spreads!).
Argh. My itty bitty flat is becoming a yarn factory now (ok I exaggerate.. but wherever you go you will see bits and pieces of yarn) until Mr Bee mengamuk and threatened to throw all my yarns away if I dont clean them up. He forbade me to buy anymore till i actually finish them. *hee* I cant help it. Yarns are so nice. You just stand at the aisle where there is full of yarns, then you dream of "making" something out of it. Ooooh that yarn would look lovely if I made (insert your dream crochet/knit project here). And you buy them. It's hardly my fault anyway. Blame Spotlight for making it so tempting.
Bah.
Me being busy with work doesnt help make my crochet projects moving either. Plus I was busy tweaking this website.
Yes I know already. I am in the wrong profession.

I finally did it!
There will be some problems to this template (ie you need to click on the scroll button instead of lazily scrolling with your mouse wheel).
I like this happy happy template theme which I took it from
blogskins and modified it abit.
Its kind of hard when I dont have a html editor on board this laptop. I had to practically rely on my rusty programming knowledge, and through trial and error I manage to set the code right by using the microsoft word program, copying and pasting the code in blogger and click preview 10,000x to see if it is right (ie you click on the any of the tab above, it brings you to the relevant page).
Weee.
I know its cheating to copy and modify an exisiting code, but what to do, I'm a tax advisor by profession okay..... I'll be modifying it abit here and there.. so expect to see some errors along the few days.
===================================================
Ya know, I totally forgot about archives *facepalm*
I'll get to it.. it will be in the "mail" section and I will change the tab header soon.
So folks.. lets all try to remember for now till I get to change it ..
"mail" = archive=======================================update: Please do not try to go to any of the archives now. Once you click it, the website will permanantly be in "archive mode" and the tabs will never work. You only can go to the current post by entering the address again in the internet explorer address bar.Yes me dumb. Still finding out how to solve problem. ========================================I just realised.. who the heck will be so interested in my archives since this blog is only known to few and it mostly contains fubbish (fugly...? fubbish? geddit?).. I may just leave it as it is.. hohoho... or just put a note in the archives sectionLabels: blogger, blogskins, new template

Already Singapore has been tagged the fastest walker in Asia (save for Hong Kong, because they are not considered walking, they are running), but do they have to talk fast too?
Right just now I had a client called up and the conversation goes:
"Hi, I'm bskdjashjewheuyrgf <Sorry didnt get the name> from Spiserpewrcnispeaktohuangziorseehui"
WHAT?????
I had to say "Sorry I didnt get that, could you repeat that?"
And the conversation up there repeats itself in fastforward fashion again and again
And the end I gave up and said "Sorry, I really didnt get that could you spell it out?"
Finally I got the message and it turned out the client wanted to talk to someone else, which I directed the client to it.
GAWD!
Why cant people here slow down already?!

It wasnt until 5.30 am in the morning I suddenly awoke (dont ask me why I suddenly awoke) and realised that my handphone is missing from my bag. The whole time from after work till 5.30 am I didnt even suspect that anything was amiss.
I woke up at 5.30am frantically searching for my phone before whining to Mr Bee that my phone is LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTT. Mr Bee, who wanted to go back to sleep just said "Maybe its in the officezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...xx"
But I remembered playing with the phone out of office. 0.0
So being the "super concerned" person that I am, I resigned to the fact that I have lost the phone and spent the 1 hour (5.45 - 6.45am; I wake up at 6.45am) contemplating in my sleep which new phone I should buy. Nokia? Sony is not bad either.. hmm.. how bout Moto?
Man imagine my surprise/dissapointment the next morning when I reached work to check my mail and my brother and father emailed me that the travel agency called that I had actually left my phone in the travel agency (where I went to buy my bus tickets back to KL).
No new phone for me now..
After the x-rays, consultation, etc, I did my first adjustment.
The doc made me lie on my side, my bottom leg straight, and my top leg bent (like how u sleep). Then he proceeded to put some pressure on my side (like folding me into half) then... *CRAAAAAAAACK!*
Note: Its not painful at all
Then he went for my neck. WAH I knew what he was going to do next (you know the swift and quick turn on the neck and it goes *CRACCCCKKKK*). I was chicken (as usual) and resisted / froze and gave lots of hell to the doc. So he pretended to release his grip on my neck then I relaxed abit... the next thing I knew..
*CRAAAAAACCCCCK*
GAH! But it didnt feel pain of course I'm just afraid of sound effects. It did feel better after that and I was able to sleep better that night. I even contemplated on proceeding with the treatment.. but the cost .. $4K weii..

I wonder to myself, why do I bother talking to him at all when all he does is blow his own horn?
Hmmm?

Last weekAfter spinal checkup on Saturday: Dim Sum. Library. Back home. Cook. Dinner. Marina Square. Pool. Bowling. Back home. Tired.
Sunday: Wake up 11am. Buffet lunch 12.30pm till 3pm *burp*. Sleep likeapig. 7pm Cook Dinner. Watch tv. Sleep.
Monday and Tuesday:
Result after I went for for a
spinal checkup: My spine is misaligned. Needed rehab program. Explained what rehab program is. 12 months. $4k. 0.0
See how my spine deviates from the straight line (ideal)Then I researched on chiropractic, whether there is really a need. There are good and bad. Bad: Subluxation does not exist. Spinal neck area may be too sensitive for chiropractic practices. Can result in stroke. The worse part: Cost.
So I talked to many many people (ei S$4k is alot ok. Almost RM10k) and they said yoga might help. So yeah. I will take up yoga. Now to find a suitable gym/club (and affordable too) *sigh*
Remember I talked about how I started a this new project after my bikini project? Well.. its taking a little longer than I expected and when I finished it, it didnt came out the way I expected it to be. I ripped it off and started on my own "design". It's now more complicated. After awhile I got bored (ripping and starting all over again a few times), I just left it at that (to be continued once I get motivated again) and started on another project.

At first I saw this book earlier in the library. I didnt pick it up earlier on the impression it contained more.... "older" stuff, jsut that they gave it a "funky name to cover it up". Now I regret I didnt pick it up earlier. It has really fun and refreshing stuff in it! Simple to make too! Look, I made this in just 2 days:
Mr Fizzy is the presenter of my new creation
I modified the stitch and stitched a patterned lining (again, I bought a cheap cheap t-shirt for this lining) to make it more interesting:

Okay... my ugly hand stitches can still be seen. *shadap* I will invest in a sewing machine soon. This is the original in the book:
It looks more sturdy in this pic. I think its the yarn brand they use.. sadly only available in the USA.

*craaaaaaaackkkkkk*
*CRAAAAAAAACCKK*
Yeap.. that summarises my first adjustment... (note: my spine didnt crack. Its just like the sound how you crack your knuckles; all of them at once. But LOUDER).
Tell u more later.
Monday, September 10, 2007
So I went for my first "formal" chiropractic appointment (the informal one was free, during lunch around my office area).
I was walking somewhere in Raffles Place on Friday (will tell you later cos my brain isnt functioning on a Monday morning) and they had this free spine analysis which tells you how misaligned your spine is. Free. Hmm. Count me in man. So they used this computerised thingy on my neck spine and measure the tension. They are supposed to measure my lower back but then... I was wearing a dress so they cant do that. Anyway, my left neck tension is 162%.
Woooo
I dont know what that means. But all I know that my neck is pain and so is my left hand so the analysis seemed pretty accurate. Then a doctor saw a group of us. Explained what chiropractic thingy is all about, how they can help, how your spine is connected to everything in your body, in short, bad spine, bad health. So the doc saw us one by one just to demonstrate. Stand up. Close eyes. Face head to sky, down, then look straight.
From there he is able to tell how misaligned you are. It seemed that I am quite misaligned. Heh. He can feel it in my neck tension. Blah. So then after the analysis, we are supposed to choose whether to sign up or just leave it.
I actually had another chiropractor in mind. The one which is nearer to my place. I dont want to come all the way to town just to get my back analysed or seek treatment. I guess I am not a town person. Further, I already made an appointment with a chiropractor near my place on Saturday.
So Saturday's chiropractor practically did the same thing and the result is pretty much the same (ie neck tension), except that they sent me to x-ray my spine so that they could agree what is the next best step (mind you I paid for this, so that's for the x-ray step).
Today and tomorrow, I will go for my report. This is to see what are the doctors recomendations after they have looked at my x-ray. Woo. We'll see if I need to get my back aligned.
Btw, if you are puzzled by today's title "Subluxation", it means when one or more of the bones of your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves.
So there. This may be the cause of my many migranes.

"Rockstar"
I'm through with standing in line
To clubs we'll never get in
It's like the bottom of the ninth
And I'm never gonna win
This life hasn't turned out
Quite the way I want it to be
(Tell me what you want)
I want a brand new house
On an episode of Cribs
And a bathroom I can play baseball in
And a king size tub big enough
For ten plus me
(So what you need?)
I'll need a credit card that's got no limit
And a big black jet with a bedroom in it
Gonna join the mile high club
At thirty-seven thousand feet
(Been there, done that)
I want a new tour bus full of old guitars
My own star on Hollywood Boulevard
Somewhere between Cher and
James Dean is fine for me
(So how you gonna do it?)
I'm gonna trade this life for fortune and fame
I'd even cut my hair and change my name
[Chorus:]
'Cause we all just wanna be big rockstars
And live in hilltop houses driving fifteen cars
The girls come easy and the drugs come cheap
We'll all stay skinny 'cause we just won't eat
And we'll hang out in the coolest bars
In the VIP with the movie stars
Every good gold digger's
Gonna wind up there
Every Playboy bunny
With her bleach blond hair
Hey hey I wanna be a rockstar
Hey hey I wanna be a rockstar
I wanna be great like Elvis without the tassels
Hire eight body guards that love to beat up assholes
Sign a couple autographs
So I can eat my meals for free
(I'll have the quesadilla, on the house)
I'm gonna dress my ass
With the latest fashion
Get a front door key to the Playboy mansion
Gonna date a centerfold that loves to
Blow my money for me
(So how you gonna do it?)
I'm gonna trade this life for fortune and fame
I'd even cut my hair and change my name
[Chorus]
And we'll hide out in the private rooms
With the latest dictionary and today's who's who
They'll get you anything with that evil smile
Everybody's got a drug dealer on speed dial
Hey hey I wanna be a rockstar
I'm gonna sing those songs
That offend the censors
Gonna pop my pills from a pez dispenser
I'll get washed-up singers writing all my songs
Lip sync em every night so I don't get 'em wrong
[Chorus]
And we'll hide out in the private rooms
With the latest dictionary and today's who's who
They'll get you anything with that evil smile
Everybody's got a drug dealer on speed dial
Hey hey I wanna be a rockstar
Hey hey I wanna be a rockstar

Most of you know that I suffer from migranes and back pain off and on (more like getting worse and worse). It wasnt until my colleague asked me.. "eh how old are you ler.. complain so much.. " that I decided to take some kind of action.
I decided to book my first appointment with a chiropractor (dont know what it is? Google it).
I've heard that constant backpain and migranes can stem from the spine. Especially if you get shoulder aches and then when the pain gets worse, you get a migrane. I've been a sufferer of migrane for years. It can be due to so many things. Period. Migrane. Hot. Migrane. Stress. Migrane. Smell flowery stuff. Migrane. Cold Migrane. ETC.
Its this Saturday, near my favourite joint, the library. I'll tell you how it goes.

I bought this for my laptop the other day. What is this??? Its a snapball! Whats a snapball?

It promotes good airflow for my laptop. Plus, it makes it more ergonomic to work on my laptop with the snapball. Also, it is easier to move the laptop around with the rounded surface of the snap ball.
More information on the snapball can be found here. There are many types of other similar products. It really helps! If you want to be on the move, the snapball removes quite easily cos of the "snap material"
Me is very the happee

Notwithstanding those who view me as a "ruthlesspowerbunny whointendstoruletheworldin3yearstime", I'm all out for mums to at least be a full time mum at the first few "important" years of the child's life. I would want to be a full time mum too (if hubby can afford it.. wait...let's make it.. he'd MUST BE ABLE AFFORD IT.. before he marries mua)
Mari kita semua balik kerja dalam gahmen.
I'm gonna quit my job in Singapore and go back to work for the government.

NOT
You think I stupid meh.... RM150 a year (3 years max out of 5 years)increament.. not enough lah. You think become full time mum so cheap???? Ok lah saya tau, saya sudah obsolete by the time 5 tahun akan datang... tapi RM150 macam tak consider inflation pun. Saya punya anak tak cukup makan. You tak tau betapa costly-nye susu sekarang????
I might as well defer my maternity plan and save from here and put in some kind of trust fund to fund me through out my 5 years. Even after that got balance sommore.

Mr Bee bought this from a flea market. $8 only! And its unused (so the owner said):

Cute eh? Its actually a purse. This will add up to my collection of bunny obsessions
