If it is hot = lazy
If it is raining = lazy
If it is cold = lazy
If it is humid = lazy

Yep, just blame it all on the weather.

Actually, this happened quite a while ago. We were walking around our area one day and found a stall that sells board games.

Monopoly

Scrabble

Guess how much it was? $10 each! Cheap!!! Thats why we bought 2. hehehehe... No doubt it was made in China. But you gotta give credit to them. The quality.. not so good. But who cares? Its a board game anyway, we are bound to be bored playing with it anyway.

Monopoly money..so cute

In the midst of Monopoly

Scrabble tiles

Arent they cute? They follow the disney theme to the finest details (althought you can sense the quality isnt so good).

Commented by a colleague:

"Why do we feel guilty leaving at 6.30pm when our official work hour ends at 5.30 pm? It's as though we have to sneak out of office before 8pm..."

Makes you wonder the culture here.

As you know, I worked. Pity me. But all is not lost. I had a most fulfilling weekend. Basically just lazing around on the couch and playing with my laptop. I am such a geek. Besides that, I had a visitor, who came down, wanted to buy a Nintendo DS. I took him to buy it, and on a pretense of "visiting me" he did this:

Started searching for Nintendo DS games online. Basically leeching my internet to find games for his new play toy... tsk tsk tsk. Bad boy. You can tell....

By his guilty smile... *heeee*

After updating my laptop, I still cant play Secondlife. Thats because they do not support Microsoft Windows Vista.

WHAT???? By the time they issue out a Vista compatible, FOR SURE MY HARDWARE IS OUTDATED AGAIN LOR.

Aih.. Secondlife got no fate with me le.. too bad.

Bloody hell, its a Saturday and I'm working. At least I am working at home... with my smelly pillow and Mr Fizzy (the penguin) beside me. The laptop is working like a dream. I have got my wireless router and, yay I can surf net around my little ittybitty house. Well the purpose I made it wireless is because Mr Bee is also going to buy his laptop and we have to share the internet. So it makes sense.
On a lighter note, the latest Harry Potter book is out today (hardback copy)! Have you got your copy? I'm waiting for the paperback copy, OR someone to finish the book first and then I'll borrow it. It doesnt make sense to buy a hardback when I dont even have the first 6 books, although I've already finished reading them (thanks PY's bro!) ~ heh.

... where to start...

I have started on this new book (I know! I dont have time, but I need to start right?) called "Skinny Bitching"

see: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbninquiry.asp?ean=9780385337878&z=y

(you can read an excerpt there)

Whoah.. the author really knows how to bitch. It's like hearing someone bitching right in front of you as you read her rants in the book. Hair. Fat. Thighs. Gym. Excercise. Mom. Mom-in-law. Flowers.

Basically EVERYSINGLEATOM in the earth she is able to bitch about. Non-stop.

eg (somewhat picked out of my poor memory somewhere):

"... girls with thighs that can split an oil drum...." (while bitching about gymming)

???

Its so not logical but so funny.

Its therapy for the girls soul (especially when one has to deal with stuipidity at work and at home). You should read it. Especially after a hard days work.

Yes I know I'm blogging while at work. I cant like work 24/7 right? Give me a break will you? I need to update the blog. *pth bth* Now you can see my blog is not neglected.

Ahh.. I also need to update this layout. I will return!!!!!

Fwahahahah...

Ok, I just realised that the post below sounded abit looney and crazy.

I am going crazy because of few clients. I dont know why I have the ability to attract such difficult clients.

ie:

Client give me information on 12.15pm today and wants the report by today (???).

I say. No we may not be able to as my manager needs time to review the report first AFTER I incorporate the information I just received.

You just work hard lah ok.

What. The........?

<this all happened yesterday>

So today, we are working towards YESTERDAY's deadline.

-----------------------

I love my laptop did I tell you that? Microsoft Windows Vista is abit unstable... I hope they will come up with a service pack to patch all the problems.

Currently, when I download something from the net (ie Windows Live Messenger), it didnt register to save the download (i tried to download 3 times). I had to restart my laptop then it got smart and saved the download.

Other than that... hmm.. not much.. I have not installed any other software, so its still a virgin laptop (heh). Secondlife also have not started to play (aih). So busy!

I want to be a lady of leisure! HELP! Donate money to meeeeeeee

Usually, we take xx bus to and fro Singapore, then suddenly, we wanted to try other buses. Most of the other busses we  took wasnt that great. So then we saw one bus that stood out. It was so cool and so nice.. we contemplated taking it. But then, it was too expensive, AND if they didnt meet the quota of passengers in one bus, they charter out to xx. Which is the same anyway, but more expensive.

Boo. So we didnt take that bus, back to xx.

It was not all boo anyway. Look at what happened on our way back to Singapore:

I'm so ambitious! These are the very few designs I wanted to do. Some requires knit which I am going to learn soon enough... when I eventually mastered the crochet (or eventually abandon it..)

Looks very nice aint it?

Lets now see what mine looks like:

Looks like a fairly good attempt, but its supposed to be straight not curved to a round. Fail.

Totally horrible use of colors. FAIL

I am now attempting a design, where it will look like this (hopefully) when finished:

And hopefully, the person who wears it, will look as hot as this:

Now if I fail this, I will just stick to knitting socks. Now Ellen, please tell me where I can get Lycra in Singapore?

When in doubt of what is happening behind your block, just close all your windows and doors. Doesnt matter. Just close it.

I live in a (an?) HDB flat. Behind my flat is a basket ball / badminton / multi-pupose court.

Thats when the problem comes in. Multi-purpose. They hold wedding ceremonies, funerals all in the same area. Just build a tent and there you go.

These few weeks has been very noisy. Have lots of ceremonies, events, etc. Even the prime minister came to visit some of the events.

Usually I dont mind the noise, since I'm so used to it now as previously there was construction going on before the new shopping mall emerged opposite my house. Then came this Chinese ceremony. Dont ask me what. I dont usually bother. All I know its noisy clanging and banging of drums and opera singing (chanting?). It went on for the whole weekend.

See, usually weekend I air the house and do my laundry.. so far, no problems. Until this ceremony was held.

It involves barbeque-ing pig skin. Directly under my window (I live on the 3rd floor only). What I dont know is how the oil smell sticks to my clothes and my bedsheets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ARGH!

My floor is oily. My place stinks of pig. My walls are oily! (*&^%$$#@@!! And I just cleaned the house!

ARGH!
