Okay, seriously, I've been too busy to update and a little depressed with work. And what happens when a sane female get busy and fed up with work (ie work work work without a little self reward)? Evil retail therapy comes to play:

I like the dress and the puffy sleeved shirt. The dress can go on its own. But I will look too thin in it (as usual)

Love the skirt. Painful on my wallet though.

I went to this boutique where the owner kept asking me to try stuff and whenever I came out she will be like "ooooh this looks nice on/suites/so/etc you" type. Needless to say, I bought this shoulder puff top cos it looked pretty normal then. I really do like this quirky shoulder puff shirt, but I need the courage to wear it to work someday. It really makes you look cutesy dictatorish (picture the 80's jacket where shoulder pads were sooo in.. only this time, rounder)
Even the male gender is not spared of the Evil retail therapy fever. This will be "sadly" replaced soon:

My 3 colleagues just moved in the East Coast area and they invited us to go see them. Okay we said, and thus, we planned our journey. "We'll go to the beach" we planned.
Yeah right. I left my house at 3 pm caught the bus at 3.30 pm (argh@!) and reached her place at 4.30pm. I was exhausted. Sun. Heat. Humidity.. 1 hour bus ride.. &^%$$&^&*() Not exactly the beach weekend I planned.
Singapore is so small yet I had to take a 1 hour bus ride to reach her place. It must be the "strategic" locations of the bus stops. Every bus stop at every 100m in the housing area and every 1km at the main roads.
When I reached her place, they announced, "we had to take a bus to the beach, and its not near"
HOLY *****
"No more bus ride" I said. I had enough. It almost killed me to get there. So we lamed around her house, joked, talked etc, had dinner, and watched a movie, Stardust. I highly recomend it. Go and watch it!
Anyway, work has been busy. I was assisting on a project which had many revisions (^%$#) and the client was very big globally and etc lah. Basically, we had to kiss the ass of the client to please them.
=/
I've also been busy with knitting! I finally learnt how to knit. It isnt that hard after all. A friend taught me how to knit while I taught her how to crochet. This is the result after 1 week:
Its not perfect, but I'm happy considering I never pay for classes! And it was a 1 hour express lesson by my friend. Happy. I'll show you what is the end result is. Prolly next year at the reate I am going. Ho ho Ho ho.

Currently in love with this chocolate. Yum.
Btw, I took a cab back from my colleagues place in the east coast. 15 mins ride.
=_=
Holy crap.
To those who love cutesy japanese food products (ie rice cakes, sweets, seaweed) may have been eating goods that were expired 30 years ago!
