My ex queried, "Why dont you adopt a Christian name? That way people can remember your name easily"
Being the fool that I am, I said, "what name would you like"?
He said "I kinda like 'Kimberly', it sounds cute, just like you"
Fast forward...
I didnt adopt the name "Kimberly" because I was too proud of my own Chinese name. Furthermore, I dont think I could get used to being called by another name after 20 something years.
Just recently I found out that the ex names his car "Kimberly".
How wonderful. Makes you wonder...
Yay me.

Remember when you were young, you looked forward to Sunday and bugged your parents to buy as many newspapers as they can so that you could read all the comics? I remember asking my parents to buy as many as 3 newspapers on Sunday. Yep 3. Just for the comics.

Its back to school and all the comics are suddenly available for loan. Its like finding back my childhood reading all these comics again! Singapore libraries are very well stocked. Especially this new one near my place (one station away). They even loan out new foreign magazines which costs a bomb (obviously all loaned out by the time I reach, kiasuism at its best).
Yes I am very intellectual. I cant help it. The last thing I want to read after a hard days work is:

I fell asleep after reading the introduction. Never got past the first few pages before the book is due to be returned. I really tried. REALLY! All I want to read is gossip magazines and bimboish literature.
Now back to my intellectual reading....

Whenever my "relative" comes to visit me once a month, I get very cranky and irritated at stupid people (usually I am very patient. No REALLY. I USALLY AM).
This when the advantage comes to play whenever Mr Bee is in the picture.
He has to tend to every whine I have. Like for instance, when I whine for food, he will bring it to me even though I am in bed. When I whine for hot water bottle, he will boil the water and put the water so that its not scalding hot but hot enough to soothe the pain and give the watter bottle to me. When I whine that I am tired, he will give me lots of hugs and kisses and tuck me to bed. When I whine that I am in pain, he has to scramble to get painkillers and give them to me while I am paralysed in bed. When I whine... you get the picture already.
So yea, when I have PMS it has its advantages. I guess its because Mr Bee doesnt want to get the bad side of me like when he said today...
one more working day and tomorrow you can rest mah. I roared...
BUT ITS PAIN! YOU WILL NEVER KNOW THE PAIN and the TIREDNESS OF BLEEEEEEDEEEEENGGGG!!!He has to conceed that he doesnt REALLY know the pain and the blood draining effect it has on my brain.
And then again, I win (
as always). So tonight we will be going for dinner early and going back again where he has to be my
slave tend to my sensitive needs.
Oh, also, the pain sucks like hell.

I was in the car one day and saw this bus. Holy (*&6%$#&*.
This is pollution on wheels. Even I am inside the car also can smell the smoke of the bus. Must be damn long since the bus saw its last service.

Incidentaly, the poster on the bus welcomes visitors to "Visit Malaysia 2007"
Huh. So ironic.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
oh, Del, I wanted to bring this back for you (see the one in black and white).. but not sure how.. one day ya?
Dont you think that is so cute? Yeap. Thats my high tech phone in my office. Can do lots of functions that I dont really know.
This is the first time that 2 weekends in a row I came back to KL. Its damn tiring commuting up and down. Well I guess it does coincide with the holidays and stuff, Christmas and New Years Eve. Why I didn't take the whole stretch off? Because I wasnt allowed to. Simple as that. Too many people was taking the same stretch. *SIGH* So I'm forced to commute up and down.
Nevermind.
I dont know when the next I will be coming back anyway. It could be as long till Chinese New Year (anyone wants to go Malacca with me?).
I hope I dont have a 9 hour bus journey again infested with roaches and smelly rubbish (
really! some people are so inconsiderate that they throw their half eaten rojak on the bus floor). I tell you during the peak seasons they hardly clean their busses! I'm already so fedup with the current bus service and requested Mr Bee to change! Even more so when during peak seasons, I demand for VIP standards as we are going to be travelling longer hours than usual (jam, causeway slipups, massive massive exodus of people and irritating bus mates).
I hope I dont reach my Singapore home to find it infested with
kulat (fungus). That will be a story for another day. I'm off to run some errands before jetting back to Singapore!
You like?
I promise to update more often with more light hearted stuff that I experience in Singapore! Less deary beary stuff like I hate walking and I hate commuting and I hate Mr Bee when Ms PMS is here.
The new year will see a more happy me.
(I hope)I have alot of pics to upload from my camera phone, but just do not have the time to do so.
I hope for the new year to come I will be able to leave the office before 9pm DAILY.
Again, pray for miracles.
Thank you and have a great year ahead (I hope mine is too)!
Its been 6 months since I have relocated to Singapore. So far it has been good. There are ups and downs. Downs is most probably the commuting part. I hate walking. I hate waking up early. I hate it when it rains because then I would not have the comfort of a car to pick me and drop me off. Brrrr. Ok enough of complaining.
Lets look forward to the 2007. Maybe I will get used to the commuting... or maybe I'll give up and buy a car instead (heh.. highly unlikely)
**********************
My parents have been pressuring me to:
1. take up my Masters, which I have no inkling interest of studying anymore (too traumatised when I was studying for my professional exams).
2. buy a property NOW.
3. get married by 25 AND have kids early (ha ha ha ha ha ha... unlikely).
4. Change my job and get an easier job (that gets me off at 530 every day and get highly paid).
Now in this time of age, how the heck am I supposed to do that all at once?
Pray for a miracle ok?
Sigh... pressure
