A whole mess of photos that I finally uploaded:
1. Community Day
Our firm had this "Community Day" where the whole firm is closed for business and EVERYONE went out to do community work. This time, we are assigned to children who are disabled physically and mentally and took them to the zoo. For most of us, we treated it as though it was an outing... hehehehe....
The zoo is really well kept. And this is the first time I saw an 'open concept' zoo. Really. They have no cages for monkeys and tigers. One wonders how they are trained not to escape and not disturb the peace. They are freely swinging about around the trees and will never even dare go out of their confined area despite there is no bars or whatsoever to bar them from disturbing the peace.

p/s: only the elephant pic is fake....
2. Shopping
While waiting for Mr Grumpy to finish work one weekend (yes.. WEEKEND!) I went around shopping. After fighting the crowds and the general public (yes shopping here is very tiring when people are mostly in your way.. and I hate crowds) I decided to stop over Starbucks to get my much needed caramel frap. Then I spotted... TIRAMISU... and there was a disclaimer... (alcohol included)... WHOAH... I dont see this in KL. I must get one NOW. Note: I am not an alcoholic.

3. Food
We went to this place in Far East.. and saw they served something peculiar....
The place is called Hito or something like that. Its quite nice...

They serve it in a set.. and a set comes with:
More food! HAHHAHAHAHA I know I am being lame. Forgive me. When I took this picture, I didnt have broadband at home and I forgot what I took and when I took this picture.
Far East plaza. Where the famous teh-tarik stall.... frankly speaking.. despite this stall where I get my teh-tarik fixes... I still miss the Bangsar teh tarik... sob sob sob sob...
4. Training
One day I went for training. I know. Lame. But this training was different from the rest I have encountered. Not your usual classroom type of training. But more of participation type training. The training is called "Project Management". Why is it so different? Here is why...
The day started with rain. In this case, many people was late to work. And the trainer was pissed off. He said, "In order to project manage, you must be on time. When you wake up and see the skies gloomy, you should be able to anticipate that you will be late, you will have difficulty coming on time. Therefore you should be able to schedule your timing IN ORDER to come on time".
He goes on further to say "In order for me TO BE HERE, I have to wake up at 6:00 am, get ready for my son to be at school and arrive here at 7:30 to prepare the training for you guys. You, by coming in late, is a GROSS DISRESPECT and INSULT TO MY TIME"
WHOAH. Lucky I came in early man. It seems that he doesnt take any bullshit excuses like rain to be late. I guess what he said has some truth to that. How many people just take it for granted (like friends, partners, families etc) that the other party will be late? Then the other party takes it for granted that other people will be late as well. Therefore by making such thoughts, we in turn will be late. And there goes a vicious cycle of lateness. I hate that. I hate people who take it for granted that other people will wait for them with full of grace. I for one cannot stand people who say they will be like there in an hour, but actually be there 2 and a half hours late. Or even do not bother to call if they are going to be late. I hate it when people take it for granted to have telepathy to forsee that they are going to be late. It is as though I do not have any other things to do except wait for them.
If you are going to be late. Call and inform. If you are not able to make it. Call and inform. We live in a technological advanced era and have things like the MOBILE PHONE. 20 cents worth of call aint gonna kill you or your brain.
Anyway, digression. Point of story, be on time, if not call. This is a community message brought to you by http://where-dreams-take-flight.blogspot.com.
Back to the training....
We had lots of discussions and group participation, which I would normally like... but I had shit people in my group.... which unfortunately consists mostly people from other department, which we shall call.... 3KA.
There are 2 girls from 3KA that I especially hate from the begining she opened her mouth to me. 1. She never introduced herself before giving instructions, therefore I dont want to give her the priviledge of knowing my name either. 2. She gives instructions but never participates. Always say "I DONT KNOW" but when others give suggestions, she goes "I THOUGHT IT IS THE OTHER WAY" or "BUT, It is NOT LIKE THAT"
Bitch.
Why dont you just go throw yourself over the window.
Anyway, if that is not enough, she never wants to present, and always say I dont know how to present, etc etc, brings her work to the training (gross disrespect) and sits like a pasar lady (legs folded on the chair). OmG. Just to let you know, she sits right next to me and I can see her feet on the chair.
And if that is even not enough, she keeps checking her reflection on the mirror!!!!!!!!! SHE IS NOT EVEN WORTH TO LOOk ATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT... arrrrgghghghghghg. Wait... I mentioned 2 girls right? The other girl acts cute by making 'cute' faces in order to escape presentation, and then feigns cuteness (which by turn results in stupidity... cuteness should only be displayed in private/with people you know.. not your colleagues) that is so pukable, which makes me feel like pulling her teeth out. I know, being here doesnt make me any better for my anger management. They should hold that training just for people like me.
Cut long story short, the training was damn good. But those 2 girls had to ruin the whole 2 days for me. I dont want to go into the details of the training, cos that would be boring.

The bald guy is the trainer
