I received 3 missed calls from an unknown number in Singapore.

Thinking that might signal it to be important, I called back. I was
greeted by this garbled voice recorded answering machine:

"Dank yew for calling slops, if yew know the extenzion, pleaze enter
the numbew. If yew ar calling regardin oberations pleas press 1. If
yew ar calling regardin HR and relaterd madders pleas prez 2....<and
other garbled departments until number 183473564> If yew need any
assistence, pleas pres silo"

Right. As I dont know what 'slops' is, I pressed "0"

After waiting for few seconds, I was greeted by yet another garbled
voice. This time its not a recording.

"Hellow, yes?"

"Someone called me from this number, can I know what is the name of
your company?"

"Singapore Offshore Pectorial Plivate Limited"

"HUH?"

In my mind was like...

Singapore? Has an official company? For matters relating to chests/breasts?

So I asked: "Can you repeat that?"

"Singapore Offshare Plectorial Plivate Limited"

Even more garbled than ever.. So I asked her to spell it out... but
she refused, and kept on repeating the same thing again and again.

"Singapore Offshare Plectorial Plivate Limited"
"Singapore Offshare Plectorial Plivate Limited"
"Singapore Offshare Plectorial Plivate Limited"
"Singapore Offshare Plectorial Plivate Limited"
"Singapore Offshare Plectorial Plivate Limited"

Argghggh!!

So I searched the net for "Singapore Offshore".. guess what I found?

Singapore Offshore Petroleum Private Limited

= SOPS
= Petroleum

Goodness....

And I still dont know who called me from there.
